Letter from Editor
Enjoy Summer!
'A perfect summer day is when the sun is shining, the breeze is blowing, the birds are singing, and the lawn mower is broken!'
~
Russel Baker

DASL Associated Press (DS) We would like to congratulate the Class of 2010.  It is hard to believe how fast the school year has came and gone!  The good news is summer is on its way, and if it is like Spring was, we will be in for a real treat.  Time to get the dust off the bathing suits and get out the cooler clothes.  I sure hope they still fit.....I think they are too big :)

Training:
Keep an eye on the training schedule.  August will bring elementary scheduling and some open labs.  EZQuery and DASL Reports training is coming in October!

SINC:
New Reports There have been several new reports created in SINC.  Don't forget to check every now and then to see if any of them would be useful to your building or district.  Thanks to everyone that gave LACA the report ideas!

Export.
There is a new report in SINC which allows you to export assessment information into an excel spreadsheet.  The report is called Excel Data Export and is located under the General Category.  If you have any questions, please contact us.

DASL Release:
Next release scheduled in July.

10/24/2008 - In the past we have coded Resident students elswhere in SIS (R Status) by withdrawing the student. In DASL there are a few changes: - change the EMIS Situation - change the calendar and assign the student to the non-attending calendar Note - Don't withdraw the student.
10/24/2008 - Please note if you see labels being cut off, before sending in a ticket, go to your Adobe Acrobat Reader print settings, and set “Page Scaling” to "None" and un-check the “Auto-Rotate and Center” checkbox.
